Unable to pay an invoice or rent
First, make an overview of the amount, due date and sender. Contact them quickly and ask if a feasible arrangement is possible. Keep agreements in writing. Do not ignore reminders.
Is asking for help only necessary when I have debts?
No. You can also ask for help as soon as you notice your monthly budget no longer balances. Making an overview early gives more room to consider options.
A conflict about your home or insurance
Keep the contract, photos and all correspondence. Objectively describe what happened and what solution you request. Seek advice before you stop payments yourself or terminate an agreement.
May I simply withhold rent due to defects?
Do not do so without an assessment of your specific situation. It may create new risks. Report defects in writing and have the appropriate next step determined.
You feel overwhelmed or unsafe
The JAC helps young people with questions about housing, relationships, money and well-being. You do not have to be able to precisely describe your problem yet. In immediate danger, call 112.
I don’t know which service I need. Where do I start?
Start with the JAC or CAW. Explain in your own words what is difficult. They can work with you to find suitable help.

Do I need to know exactly which deed I require?
